how about this to get you thinking, which bad guy do you think would make the best hero and which hero do you think would make the best bad guy?

for me villain turned good guy would be sephiroth for obvious reasons, insanely strong, awesome outfit and weapon and one hell of a background story.
now for the hard part hero turned villain i would have to go for either barratt or auron, i think auron already has the dark/mysterious side to him that is required for a villain and for barratt who wouldnt want to fight a guy with a gun for an arm?

Well I think the best Bad guy to be good would be Seifer, he was to too bad to begin. He was manipulated so there for I think he would be a really good, good guy.
Hmm this one is hard... I have to go with you Beardalot I think Auron would be a good bad guy. But I also think Balthier woukld be great as a bad guy. But he seems like he would turn in the game again. ;D

I think the bad guy that would be the best good guy is Kuja because he is cool and stylish. Let's face it, you love to love him and love to hate him. As for good guy to bad guy... Vaan because I hate him as a good guy so imagine how good a bad guy he'd be.

Auron would be a great bad guy! Though I must say that you would still love him bad or not ;D
I think Kuja would be pretty good as a good guy as well XD

I would like to see Wakka as a bad guy.
And I think that Squall would be a cool and dark bad guy.

I think Seifer and Squall are very similar so I would like to see what it would be like if the roles where reversed. So I would like to see Seifer as the good guy and Squall as the bad.
I have to disagree with everyone else thought I think Sephiroth is a bit too twisted to be good. He makes a great bad guy and I see why everyone hates him but he wouldn't be half as loved if he was a good guy.
