After being attacked and nearly being killed by a Mesmerize as a teenager Gresh decided to live life by his own rules, not those set down for him by others. He doesn't allow his actions to be influenced by a strict moral code, rather by what he wants and how he is feeling at the time. His carefree attitude draws people to him and he is never short of company especially when it comes to women.
He joined Galbadia Garden after being persuaded to enroll when a tutor witnessed his proficiency as a marksman on a group hunting trip, he now tests prototype pistols and grenades as part of the weapons research team.
