Guidelines
Let me begin by saying this is just a game and a hobby, so let us try to just have fun and keep all disputes in character.
If you have an issue with the way your character is being treated, please email the Overlord.
Regardless of the length of a rp, quality will always trump quantity.
rps for all events will be graded on 4 categories: Originality, Continuity (How well the rp flows), Match Relevancy, and Spelling/Grammar. If you need further clarification on these, feel free to contact the Overlord.
Rules:
No racial slurs as people can get offended. As for swearing, it is tolerated however in your rps if they are used out of context or excessively, it will make you lose grammar points.
Do not use someone else’s character directly in your rp without their permission. You may talk about them, but they can not appear in person.
There will be a limit of assessed rps of 3 per event to prevent anyone trying to go over the top with quantity so their opponents don’t feel overwhelmed. Also too much will probably end up dragging the point and story on to the point where the continuity and content will suffer.
No more than one rp can be posted within 24 hours of the deadline.
To prevent last minute wins, any rp written within the last 30 minutes of the deadline will be only half marked unless notice of it happening is given prior to the event. If you know you can only write an rp at certain times, we want to know so your opponent also is aware of that fact and we can grade fairly.
This is just a game, so we know the real world comes first. That being said, no showing is annoying and we don’t want it happening. Therefore, if it happens once, that is understandable. If you do it twice within a short amount of time, you will be given a warning. If you do it a third time then we will remove you from the world. If something comes up, then tell us and we will sort something out.
